For Almoners

As the "eyes and ears" of the Lodge, the Almoner must be alert to the needs and problems of Freemasons and their families.  Almoners may also be asked to assist individuals who are making an application to The Freemasons' Grand Charity, Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys, and Masonic Samaritan Fund.

It is important that all Almoners are aware of the help available from the four central Masonic charities. It is also useful to have a basic knowledge of the range of support available from the state.

This section provides a range of information to help Almoners to undertake their duties.  Further guidance on the work of the Masonic Charities is also available by contacting Freemasonry Cares on 2020 035 60 90.
